I've picked up and put down Pictorial Webster's: A Visual Dictionary of Curiousities in book stores more times than I can remember, attempting to convince myself that I really didn't need it. It's a gorgeous book filled with old engravings from 19th century dictionaries, packed with bizarre animals and outdated machinery.
